The Mohave County Sheriff's Office is actively searching for a couple reported missing

The Mohave County Sheriff's Office seeks public assistance in finding two local residents who did not return from their planned weekend trip to the Music Mountains, north of Kingman.

The Search and Rescue unit of the sheriff's office urges anyone with information regarding Joe Kinnear, 49, from Kingman, and Brenda Hughes, 57, from Laughlin, to reach out to the sheriff's office at 928-753-0753.

"Both individuals were last seen on Friday heading to the Music Mountains for the weekend, with plans to return on Sunday," stated the sheriff's office on Monday afternoon. "Since their departure on Friday, they have not returned home nor contacted their family or friends. They were traveling in a bright green Chevy two-door Tahoe towing a bright green two-door Polaris RZR on a trailer."

Kinnear stands at 5-foot-5, weighing approximately 200 pounds, with red hair, hazel eyes, and sporting a long sandy-red beard in a recent photo.

Hughes stands at 5-foot-6, weighing about 170 pounds, with brown hair or brown eyes.

Anyone who has information about the two individuals or has spotted either of the mentioned vehicles since Friday is encouraged to contact the sheriff's office, referencing case number DR 24-014912.
